Guided Imagery and Visualization
Virtualdreamer.com evolved from some early guided imagery recordings that concentrated on what the listener hears as opposed to more conventional recordings that focus on what the listener feels via narration. Of all the recordings we have ever made only five come with a narration option. Our guided imagery promotes visualization. By visualizing we are activating the same area of our brain as when we dream. Using the sound of nature and background audio effects we strive to put the listener in a particular peaceful setting, allowing the mind to wander and sleep to come. Imagining yourself in a calm, peaceful setting can help you relax and aid in relieving stress, insomnia, anxiety or chronic pain. Visualizing yourself in situations that make you feel safe and happy can lead to a good night's sleep.
