Why we will not sell our Nature Sounds on Ebay or Amazon....

 
I have had an account on Ebay for  many years. In a previous lifetime I would buy and sell advanced audio and other technical equipment thru Ebay and other outlets. No problem. However, I am not crazy enough to put our sleep CDs on Ebay for the simple reason that they could easily be pirated and resold as either 'used' or repackaged under someone else's name. We have gone great lengths to copyright each nature soundscape but that does not matter to a pirate in China. About Amazon. Selling used books is fine. Selling easily duplicated CD's is not. The biggest problem on Amazon is people burning your work copying your barcode and, to get around the law, selling it as 'used'... at a fraction of the cost, mind you. Nope, the only place you will find our work is on this site. At least for awhile.
