What Sleep
Sounds May Come
I
thought some of our patrons might be interested in what
relaxation sounds
we have 'coming down the tube'. Here are a few:
The Long Trail Home:
This is a dreamscape
of a solo trail ride. While the relaxing sounds of horse hooves and
bridle jingle is predominate throughout, there are also
'crossing a small river' sounds, wildlife and distant thunder
and other nature sounds. I
have not decided if it will start raining yet. Its about 70 %
completed
Rain
Forest Zip-Line:
I wanted to do an
Amazon and/or jungle nature sound with a 'virtual dream' twist. I thought that using
a zip-line to get down there would make an interesting
variation on this theme. 80% completed.
Everest:
I
have been working on this one, on and off, for a long time. The
last few minutes of reaching the summit are explored. Lots of
wind and the sound of climbing. About 60% completed.
As
you can see, because we strive to create virtually real relaxing audio
environments to promote our minds natural ability to visualize,
our nature sounds are more extensive then conventional nature
sounds (even though we have
some of those, too!).
Not all the nature sounds that are started make it up on
the website but I am fairly confident all of these will.
Anyhoo, that's what is coming down the tubes!
Dream good dreams!
