The World's Most Unique Nature Sounds?

I have been purposely avoiding the use of the term world's most unique nature sounds because it sounded a bit like hyperbole to me. A little over hyped. A bit like a sideshow barker... " Step right in, folks and hear the world's most unique nature sounds". You get the picture. But it's true. We have the world's most unique deep relaxation and sleep onset recordings. I have looked everywhere. We are it.  But there is a reason for it above and beyond our desire to have the most diversified collection of sound environments on this planet.  There are many different audio companies; both in the brick-and-mortar world and via the Internet, that specialize in nature sounds. Some add music and some don't. Some have guided relaxation narration, some don't. There are only so many nature sounds to go around. Ocean waves, thunderstorms, crickets & frogs, birds and so on. But The Virtual Sound Company (us) goes one step further. If one puts in the effort then a specific audio environment can be emulated. Natural and nature sounds induce relaxation and the introduction of background sounds, specific to a particular scenario, helps to induce visualization. Visualization begins the process of sleep. But I digress.

Foreground and Background Relaxing Sounds

The addition of foreground nature sounds with background sounds that suggest a particular environment increases the number of audio environments from eight or nine (waves, wind, rain, birds and so on) to an almost infinite number of possibilities. Rock climbing, cave spelunking, climbing Everest, wind surfing, hang gliding,  dining in Greece, taking an ocean cruise... and so on.

Being an insomniac, I know that these virtual audio environments are effective in relaxation and sleep onset. I am passionate about bringing new ideas to fruition and look forward to any suggestions you may have to keep virtualdreamer.com the website with the world's most unique nature sounds.

P.S. I used the term 'a sideshow barker' above. That is interesting as we put sideshow barkers in our newest sound The Fairgrounds. (did you like how I worked that pitch in?) We also made a Chronic Pain Management page.
