Tornado Alley is a bit of a departure
for us. We were asked to create the most serious storm sound we
could. So we did. Leading up to the funnel cloud passing
safely overhead weather alerts are heard. As the storm gets
closer the sounds of wind picks up and hail begins to fall.
The sound of
tornado warnings are heard. Before and after the storm the
sounds of various
emergency vehicles are heard far off in the distance. The
tornado sounds have come and gone by minute 20 and the rest of the soundscape is a much more pleasant storm. So, if anyone asks
you 'Where can I download a serious thunderstorm' ...
you know the answer.
