We produce some of the most unique sounds for relaxation and sleep available anywhere. However, we also recognize the need for people with Tinnitus (ringing ears) to find some relief. I have had tinnitus in both ears for over 25 years so I know the problem well. This is why we have offered free tinnitus masking MP3 downloads since the beginning of our site. It's hard to fall asleep with a tiny alarm going off in your head 24/7. The theory behind a noise masker is simple. Imagine one person in a quiet theater talking behind you. Irritating, right? But add 500 people talking in the same time and the irritating noise gets lost in a much more pleasant murmur. Free Virtual Dryer Sound | Free White Noise MP3 | |
The sounds we as individuals find comfort in are numerous and varied. I have heard from a number of patrons how relaxing and soothing they thought the sound of a standard household dryer was. So, we recorded one. This sound is loop-able and 15 minutes long. It's about 14 megabyte. | White noise is used for masking tinnitus. Other people find that white noise can aid concentration by masking irritating noises. This white noise is loop-able, slowly fades in and out at the beginning and end, and is 20 minutes long. It's about 29 megabyte. | We had someone tell us they love the sound of a space heater as a noise masker. This is great if it is cold but when summer comes who wants to turn on a heater? This is a 22 minute recording we did at 256 Kbit/s in stereo. It is about 43 megabytes and is loop-able. |
